Summer Vacation

Hi and welcome to my first choice of Challenge for CD Sunday Summer Vacation. Please visit and see the teams wonderful cards.
You only need to use something from a CD to enter, an image, paper or even just a sentiment as long as you can attribute something.  I have used several CD's in this card MCS for the image and Robert Adams and Kameo cards CD,s for the papers.

Summer vacations were spent in an aunts home in Rothesay ,days spent at the beach, silvery white sands and lovely weather, no holidays abroad until I was about 14 years old,  I'm sure this was the case for most in my age group. So the above image may evoke happy holiday memories for you. I look forward to visiting and seeing your cards.

I love this image Meg. As you say it brings back memories of a much simpler time. Although with 9 children in our family it was rare for us to have a holiday or even a trip to a beach.

A wonderful card Meg, very British Seaside! My childhood holidays were spe t either at West Bay in our static caravan or Bournemouth in a hotel. Both consisted of beach, ice creams and ambre solaire, the smell of which still brings back memories xx

A really fun card Meg. My memories of the beach were of my Father fully dressed whilst we were in swimsuits. He was very sensitive to the sun and daren't get burnt. I can still remember his chalk white legs. We used to tease him so.

What a fabulous image - reminds me of seaside postcards from years gone by. My in-laws lived on Rothsay for many years (1971-1990) and ran The Prom Tearooms on the seafront at one time.
