One of my elder sons friends is being married in September and this is for the happy couple. My son is hopeless at remembering to buy cards and I hope he likes this one.I kept it really simple I love the silhouette and am afraid I can't remember where it came from.

Christmas Robins

When I made my last card I used the memory box die on light weight card to use as a template for sizes, as I couldn't put it through my printer I decided to stamp on it and here is another Christmas card using the same layout design.

It was raining when I got up at 7 am but it's stopped now, and looks like being another lovely day. We were in France in May and had better weather than home, it seems ages ago now but we couldn't ask for a better summer.

Skating or Not?

Well one of my snowmen is  skating, the other doesn't seem to have the hang of it. I did consider putting the image from the card on the bag, but thought the different image made the set a bit more fun.The card is so simple to make a C&S layout, without the bells it would even be a standard letter post.

Another sunny bright morning, even hubby who likes to lie in bed was up at 7 am today. A good day to go to the coast and enjoy the breeze from the North sea.

It looks as though it's going to be another hot day, I've planned a barbecue for mid afternoon, I always eat too much and need a rest afterwards. My card today is something a bit different I love white on white with a coloured image but haven't done one without any colour at all, I did struggle but am reasonably pleased with the finished article.

Snow Couple

I buy most of my card stock from the Papeterie in Aberdeen in an A4 size, so after cutting a15x15 cm card am left with long strips about 6 cm wide,some I use for die cuts but the remainder was surplus until I became a fan of white on white. I now use all those leftover pieces instead of paper.

Not too bad a day here we seem to have escaped the worst of the weather, No. 2 son away to Aberdeen for a few days, so the house is quiet again. Love the QKR Stampede snowmen they have loads of character and are easy to colour.

I've kept this nice and simple as it will be posted, last Christmas I spent a fortune on postage ,but discovered that putting all the cards for the same address into a padded envelope was significantly less expensive than posting the cards individually.

The house is very quiet with James away for a few days, although we don't see an awful lot of him he makes his presence felt. At least his room is now sparkling clean. We've had a beautiful few days and despite a dull start today is beginning to look promising, if it does stay nice a trip round the coast sounds like a good idea.

Contemporary Chilly

A quiet house today no.2 son is away to London with his brother for the weekend. It will give me a chance to get his room tidied and the bedding changed. It's a beautiful morning quite warm already and it's only 07:30, a day to spend out of doors.
