Fizzy Moon

A reasonably quick simple card today, the count down to the wedding is 7 days and I've been busy helping out with all the last minute arrangements, lots of trips to Aberdeen for that, leaving me little time for anything else.

I've had this CD Rom for a few years and I think this is the first card I've made using it. I raised each layer with foam pads glossy accents to noses and fun flock to the hat.

Snoozing

I love this house mouse, he looks as though he is snoozing in the warm sunshine, ( wish we had some here ) The ribbon colour is much closer to the thistle down colour in real life and I am disappointed that it looks so purple here. I left the top left hand corner blank for just now , this could be a birthday, thank you or just because card and I'll stamp a greeting there when I know to whom it's going.

Thank You

Batch of Thank you cards today the grey isn't nearly as dark as it appears here and makes a lovely contrast to the pastel shades Iv'e also made them with lemon , pink and blue at the base. I also tried  one replacing the grey with white but didn't like it as much.

Quiet Days

A different size and style of card today, I must use my CD's more. I'd hoped to visit our nearest sandy beach and collect some shells to add to the embellishments on the card but time isn't a friend just now, there aren't enough hours in the day to do everything.

Merry Christmas

It' a few weeks since I entered the challenge at 52 CCT but I've managed this one.

The poinsettia was made from several die cuts on 90gsm copier paper I have have some bits left after experimenting. I then stamped the layers and coloured with my Spectrum Noir pens before misting with water scrunching then flattening the paper and leavint it to dry.Even though the finished flower looks delicate it is sturdy.

Play Every Day

Thank you to everyone who visits and leaves a comment I appreciate them all, Time has been a little limited with frequent visits to Aberdeen to finalise wedding plans for my son and his fiancée, I'm sure she misses having family to help, and I hope I have been as helpful as possible without appearing to interfere, We are almost there now a few last minute touches remain for nearer the big day.
