Thank You
Something quite different from me today, I wanted a masculine thank you card, but I wanted it to be really simple as well. Well it proved to be anything but simple, after pleating my lengths of paper , getting them to form a square took ages, I know what I would do to make it easier now and the solution was probably staring me in the face but I didn't see it till later.
Papers scraps from Joanna Sheen Victorian Christmas one of the first CD's I bought
Thank You stamp I think was free with a magazine.

A really eye catching design Meg, I can well imagine how long it took to do all that pleating.

A very clever idea Meg. Paper pleating does give a great effect. Barbxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a good idea with the pleating. It adds such depth to the card. Aren't you going to share your simpler solution? I have often done paper weaving but not pleating. Thank you for joining in Meg.

ReplyDeleteBrilliant snippets usage though and a fab masculine card.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely idea. It reminds me that I've got a paper crimping thing-a-mjig in a drawer upstairs - one of my early crafting purchases - which would give a similar effect. Well done with your card and thank you for sharing with us.
