Christmas Angels
Hi everyone a girlie Christmas card today, my first non scheduled post in over a month, I love this sweet image and sentiment from Lili of the Valley, teamed it with papers from Craft Creations.
Apologies to all those who I haven't visited during the past 4 weeks I had breast surgery and strict instructions about what I was allowed to do, surgeon delighted with my wound but the biopsy results mean I now have to see an Oncologist to discuss chemotherapy.
I do hope to catch up with you all over the next week.

ReplyDeletethis is such a gorgeous card and that image is so sweet.
Love the wonderful round design and the colour choices.

So sorry to read you have had surgery - take care and a speedy recovery. This is a cute card, love the shape too.
ReplyDeleteOh Meg - bless your sweet heart. I'm so sorry to hear what's been going on - and send my love and hugs for a full recovery. Chemo is often a 'belt, braces and double knicker elastic' precaution so just go with the flow as they say.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card and that's one of my fave LOTV images so suited to the shape as well- and weirdly enough I used a very old Craft Creations paper on my cards for today. They really were at the head of their game for a good while.
Parsnip sends you a squishy hug - and a big sloppy kiss - he really is such a tart, given half a chance! :)
Love
Di xx
Hi Meg, I was wondering if you were ok. So sorry to hear that you’ve had surgery and now you have to undergo chemotherapy. Sending you the hugest of hugs and much love.
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous hun. I love the adorable image and the paper and fancy edging is perfect with it. The bow and bells finish off beautifully.
Hope you can keep in touch on your blog, or you can email me for chat, at address on my profile. I would love to hear from you.
Mum and I are doing ok. I don't get much time for crafting as mum's health is not as good as it used to be. I miss doing fancy cards, but get my crafty fix by making card kits.
Take care, and I hope all goes ok for you
Lots of Love, Sue B xx
Oh Meg I'd no idea you were going through this and so sorry to hear it. Hopefully all will be well and you will get through it all and have a full RECOVERY.

A fabulous card, love the way you have made the beautiful image into a circle card, super papers too.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your illness and the fact that you have to have further treatment, I certainly hope all goes well for you.
10 years ago my Sister had Ovarian cancer and it was the size of a football, all went well and she survived the Op and chemo.
This July she was diagnosed with skin cancer, on her face, luckily caught early so no chemo, a huge chunk was cut out of her cheek but it is healing well.
I certainly hope that all goes well for you.
Very best wishes
Kath x

Meg, this is an adorable card and one of my favorite LOTV images. I'm saddened by the fact you have such a challenge ahead of you. The important thing is they have help to offer you, tho the road is sometimes rocky and hilly. Praying that you maintain your strength and go out and "fight like a girl"! Thanks so much for joining in at CRAFT Challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're doing okay in spite of it all, I imagine it being quite a tough message to get.
