A CAS Christmas card today image from PC Crafter sadly no longer open, and a sentiment from Lili of the Valley. Trying to keep a selection of cards flat for posting this year.
We have a beautiful sunny but slightly chilly morning here, need to gather some of the windfall fruit, as it was blowy overnight, it's been a bumper year, I've made about 40 lbs of jam ( plum, pear and ginger , apple jelly and apple butter) and the same of chutney. Have 7lbs of plums, the last on the tree, in to make more jam today.
Hubby has also used 40lbs of pears to make cider, there are still loads of apples and pears on the trees, will be busy with them soon.

ReplyDeleteMy freezer is full with tomatoe soup and onion soup, made and still to make spicy tomatoe chutney also made some plumb chutney, had loads given from a neighbour. Busy time of year but worth it.
