Welcome to all followers and visitors, many thanks for visiting and continuing to leave comments I really appreciate the time you take to do this.

Today  at the Alphabet Challenge, Melanie has asked that we feature Birds

For my very simple card I used an image from  Pixelbuddah and sentiment from Desert Diva

Pop over to the Challenge Blog for some inspiration and see the fabulous makes there.

We are almost organised my new furniture arrived on Wednesday, the last of the boxes are unpacked and most of our belongings away, still some work to do in my craft space but almost there.

  3. Hi Meg

A really beautiful and neat card. Gorgeous colours and the embossing in the background is a great finishing touch.

Pleased you are starting to get straight. I bet you can't wait to unpack and organise all your crafting goodies.

It will be a long time before my sister is straight. They have such a lot of work to do .. .. but it will be beautiful once done. They are so excited about it all .. .. .. and we are both desperate for the Covid rules to be eased further so we can spend time together.

Enjoy the weekend when it arrives.

    Love Jules xx

  7. What a beautiful card, Meg! I love the image and your layout with the colored silk ribbon is perfect! In fact I've saved this one to CASE the layout in the future! You really do have an eye for square card layouts! I'm so glad that your unpacking is just about completed! What a huge relief that must be and you'll feel even better with the craft room in place so you can focus on creating, not cleaning! : )
Take care and have a great weekend!
    Hugs - Rachelle : )

  20. I've been admiring this bird image for quite a while on our DT page. The colours might seem a bit dark and moody at first, but I love how they look a bit mysterious, creating a scene from a fairytale garden. Not to mention how beautifully you put everything together on your card.
I'm glad to hear that moving makes a progress, too. I'm currently trying to rearrange a couple of things in my aopartment, and have many things stuffed in boxes. It's quite a challenge to navigate around them, and annoying when you look for something but you don't quite remember where you've put it :)

  23. The wreath is so pretty with the little bird resting. I love the bold bottle green with the navy blue as a background which enhances the image especially leaving the embossed panel white... sweet card x
