I wish I had one of these helpers to wrap my Christmas presents, my enthusiasm for the task wanes after a short time.
This is one of only a couple of cards for youngsters this year, using a download from PC Crafter (now closed) a couple of snippets of dp and 2 embossing folders.
Many thanks for all your kind comments on my last few cards and for taking the time to pop in and leave one today.

I'm much the same with wrapping Meg, luckily one Granddaughter loves the task. That Elf has a very mischievous expression.

I am beginning to hate Christmas, what to buy for friends and family and then wrapping them, I wish I had a little elf too,
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely Christmas card, lovely image and I like your wrapping paper rolls ready for him to use,

I use bags! LoL I want to avoid at all costs wrapping gifts so I totally get what you are saying. This card is so full of texture and festive! Thanks for joining us at 613 Avenue Create!
ReplyDeleteMeg, I'm totally with you on the gift wrapping, start off enthusiastically with every intention of having all my gifts beautifully and elegantly wrapped...not long before I'm slinging on the paper and slapping on selotape with reckless abandon! Your card is beautiful, a cute image and such lovely texture.

A lovely festive make. I like the distressed edges and the super-cute little scrolls - not to mention the cute image.
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. You'll find Di and myself up in the Treehouse having cocktails later if you care to join us! xxx
It's a lovely card Meg with that cute elf. I love the little rolls of wrapping paper. Gorgeous layers of embossed card too, Kate x

A fabulous elf card Meg. Our Christmas presents are not only wrapped but have been distributed to our families too!

The little elf peeking out with his crooked smile is adorable! Love the wonderful textures of your layers and beautiful coloring here! Yes, I think we all need an elf at some point, right?! LOL
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Despite my initials being ELF, I could use one to help me wrap gifts too! Thanks for joining us at 613 Avenue Create. I hope we see you on the front porch again soon!

Oh I love this!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous image and card Meg, I love the expression on the little elf's face. I agree the wrapping is rather a chore but as each year goes by I have less and less to wrap, opting for money or gift cards instead, not as exciting for the recipient but this seems to be what everyone wants.

Hi Meg. So colourful and the little rolls of paper are a masterstroke. Thank you for sharing with us.

How awesome to see a card that's cute and clever and funny and beautiful! So pleased you could join our Jingle Belles fun this fortnight!
ReplyDeleteMeg, this is adorable!! The image is so festively clever! I've lacked enthusiasm for wrapping for about 5-6 years now as I'm getting older. I just want to stick it in a gift bag or it's a gift card, to tuck it in an envelope...not the most festive. Anyhoo, thanks for linking to MTTCC! --Becca/DT
ReplyDeleteMeg, it's me again. This week I became the new owner of The Fairy and The Unicorn Challenge blog. Fantasy, mythical, and mystical creatures are accepted which means more than fairies and unicorns. Elves are accepted. The current challenge started on the 1st Saturday of November, so go and link-up if you want to do so. --Becca/new owner TFATU

What a eonderful scene Meg! I adore that little elf peeking round the gift wrap but the stars of the show are the two rolls of wrapping paper attached to the front of the card. So clever! Vicky x
ReplyDeleteA fabulous and colourful card - love the image and colouring - but also love the layers and edges. Thank you for joining us at ABC Christmas Challenge xx Lynda/Loopyloo DT
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun card, although you went over our 10 allowed challenges, it's still fun to see! I've resorted to Christmas carrier bags or even just pull and tie ones these past couple of Christmases - and they're so much quicker as well as still being recyclable.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Di xx
This is so darn cute Meg! Love the card design. And I hate to wrap presents. Lol! Thank you for sharing with us over here at The Fairy and the Unicorn Challenge and best of luck with your entry. Love to see you join in each month. Thank you.
