Sweet Peas


 




I needed some thank you cards,so had a play a few weeks ago,keeping them nice and simple,image from Power Poppy coloured with Promarkers,sentiment free from Bits of Paper .

    Lovely card Meg. Sweet Peas are one of our family favourites. I love them as cut flowers and my sister grows beautiful ones where she lives down in Bristol. Must be the air or the soil.

    You've coloured the image so beautifully and the simplicity of the card displays it so well.
    When I was a child, my dad always grew sweet peas. Mum used to cut them and have them in the house and the scent always takes me back to that time.

    I'm slow catching up but here at last and what a pretty card to come visit, such effective colouring. As with the lady above, my Dad always grew sweet peas, they lined the back path to the farm and the scent in the evenings has always remained with me.
