Mistletoe Mice

Image from Joanna Sheen House Mouse Triple CD Rom
Paper probably Nitwit I already had it printed off
Crafter's Companion Embossing Folder

A really simple card today, I tried placing more embellishments at the bottom right but didn't like the overall look (small picture ) so left the card quite plain. Which is your preference?

Plan to spend at least part of the day wrapping up the final presents bought last week and writing my cards .It's a beautiful frosty but sunny day with a little snow lying, such a pleasant change from the rain.

Christmas Post

I made this card at the same time as the Christmas Coach one, both images are on the same CD , this is a real old fashioned post van and I love the winter feel of the image. The weight of the embellishments is uneven so I cut off the circle bottom on the back of the card to make sure it would stand in the correct position, initially it rolled round onto it's side.

A warm welcome to Maarit my latest follower, many thanks for pressing the follow button.

Another dull day here it's been dark for most of the day, so after finishing my chores and walking the dog Iv'e had another lazy me day with my book.

Last of Autumn Days

This is my final card as a guest designer for CD Sunday I have enjoyed the past three months and thank everyone on the design team for their comments and encouragement. This challenge was chosen by Jocelyn and is Colours of Autumn. As it is now the end of November the winter solstice is only a few weeks away and we will be into the winter months proper.

Christmas Coach

Not quite as cold today,so the dog may get a longer walk than the 40 minutes he's been having of late.
All the chores are done so I will have a quiet day reading or watching some DVD's before going shopping in the evening.

C for Christmas and Cookies

Hello from a very chilly north-east of Scotland, we've had a glorious day with lots of sunshine but it's turned really cold now, still I'm sitting at the woodburner and am really cosy. Thank you to all who leave a comment I really appreciate every one.

Hubby's back continues to improve and he has cut back on his painkillers with no ill effects. He says he's going back to do his school run on Wednesday and I have to say I'll be pleased.

Sprinkle of Snow

I sometimes forget that it is ok to use just a small element from a CD Rom to play along at The CD Sunday Challenge. The element from my CD is the paper I used in the top section of my card.
Please join in the challenge there are some wonderful images and papers on CD Roms as long as there is something from one then you can play along.

A Sprinkle of snowflakes, chosen by Wynn, is my second last as a Guest Designer thank you to all the team for their support I have enjoyed playing along with you.

Mouse and Berries

Image from Joanna Sheen House Mouse Triple CD Rom

Good morning to everyone, hope you are all well, hard to believe Christmas is less than 6 weeks away. Most of the gifts I am giving are bought and wrapped, only waiting on my elder son to give the last of the items ordered to my younger son, it's easier to have deliveries made to him as he arranges them to go to his work, I've lost count of the number of times couriers have failed to deliver to my home, ok we are rural, with no street names to help, there are reliable companies who manage no bother, but there are some who have said that our address doesn't exist or there was no-one at home when they did not even come to the right place.

Husband's back is continuing to improve, he remains frustrated and now knows what he can and cannot do, but the dratted bell no longer rings continually and for that I am grateful.

Angel Bright

Many thanks to all who have sent best wishes for hubby, his back is improving slowly , he is still most comfortable lying flat, sitting is almost impossible but walking is a little easier though he still needs a stick. The bell remains in situ and thankfully is not used as often.

A fairly simple card again today I love this image and wonder what they are thinking.

Snow Couple

Minimal embellishments here as I'm trying to keep cards simple at the moment, can't help but feel it's a bit naked. The weather has gone from bright and sunny at the beginning of the week to dismal and grey now .
Hubby has hurt his back and can barely stand he is a terrible patient because he has absolutely no patience at all and is extremely frustrated, he's fed up reading and watching DVD's and will insist on trying to do things he can't which just adds to his frustration. James our younger son gave him a bell to ring when he wants/needs something I want to throw the dratted thing out. Oh for him to recover and get things back to normal.
