I have made a joke card for my husband and son and both fit perfectly with the challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown this week I hope you like them.

Only Joking

I cannot be sure just how my youngest son will respond to this card. The plan is to put it in a small box and give him it as his first parcel on Christmas morning.

The Challenge at Christmas Crafting this month was set by Debbie and is a Christmas Cracker.
I interpreted it quite literally and made a cracker. I was pleased with the result and will make one for everyone. I also made a card/menu and again will make one for everyone.

My husband will be 65 in a couple of weeks time, many years ago I bought him a cherished number plate for a birthday and decided to make his card reflect his age in the same style as a number plate, he has a great sense of humor so I hope he will appreciate it.

We Three Kings

It's the most beautiful morning here in north-east Scotland, we had a hard frost overnight everything in the garden is covered in frost but the sun in shining. Hubby is going metal detecting for a couple of hours then we will go out to make an inroad into the Christmas gift list.

The theme at Winter Wonderland this week is not a card and I hope my candle fits the challenge theme. The image is actually a scrap I got in a kit years ago and I thought it would decorate my candle beautifully. As I mostly give vouchers to my nieces I like to have a small gift as well, this is my second candle a few more to go.
