Christmas Mice and Snowman

Two cards today, both using a Simply Print Image from Lili of the Valley, the backing paper on the first is from Docrafts, and the embossing folders from Crafters Companion,  I think I should have enough now for the children on the School bus. Nice and easy makes. Thank you for all the lovely comments on my last card.

Hi, we have a reasonably nice day warm in the sunshine but not nearly as hot as last week. Thanks to all who continue to visit and leave comments, I do appreciate the time you take to do so.

I combined a stamp and an image from a CD for my card today I hope it look as though the robin is watching the scene from a distance.

Christmas is on it's Way

A Christmas card for a guy, I'm afraid it drove me daft, I was really disappointed in the quality of the stamp, the back of the rubber was ridged behind the greeting, it took several repeat stamps to get the sentiment stamped, the centre was missing on the first two attempts, thank goodness for my stamping platform. The truck stamped perfectly first time, I've had the stamp for perhaps 2 years but had never used it before.

Coloured with Promarkers and kept really plain and simple.

Emboss Resist

Today's Challenge at Make My Monday was chosen by Nandini and the theme she would like to see is a " Resist Embossing". I don't have many inks but found two colours I liked together and used these after stamping and embossing the images in white, I added the other stamped images after completing the card.

Pop over to the Challenge Blog for some inspiration and see the fabulous makes there.

"Second Time Around" (recycle)is Carol's choice for the challenge at CD Sunday today, that should give plenty of scope for your imagination, I used an image from Making cards free CD 2016 and teamed it with papers from Robert Addams CD Rom Printable Gingham, Polka Dot, Check and Tartan Backing Papers. My recycled element is the corrugated card , the holder with my take away coffee.

Remember you must use something from a Cd and to let us know which Cd you used in order to win a prize or be in the top 3. Please visit the Challenge Blog and take a peek at the team's cards, look forward to seeing your cards there or on our Facebook page

Dandelion Sprite

This little guy is Dandelion Sprite from Aurora Wings, he plagues my garden, spreading the pesky seeds, no matter how often I pull them up, new ones appear to replace them. It's ages since I did much colouring, so I set to with my Promarkers and spent a leisurely hour or so colouring.

Beautiful day here, too hot to work outside but really pleasant to sit and relax.

Thank you to all who continue to leave comments, I read and appreciate them.
