A Little Moment of Delight

I love the cheery bright colours in this design paper a welcome relief from the dull grey overcast weather today. When I teamed the sentiment with the image I reckoned it would be the mouse with the balloon and pin who would have a moment of delight.

Poinsettia flowers die cut from 120gsm paper coloured with Promarkers markers then sprayed lightly with water scrunched up then left to dry. The flowers dry really well and hold their shape.



A card for our postie today, he's been delivering our mail since we built our bungalow in 1993, and since giving up work I've got to know him quite well. I firmly believe in giving a gratuity to someone ho has provided good service. Almost everything ready now just the last minute fresh food shopping to do.

We have some of the white stuff lying today, it started snowing about 2am and there's just enough to make walking difficult as the ground was frozen underneath.
