Punch It

It is a technique Challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown and they want to see cards made with punches. My punch kept jamming whilst I was punching out the 30 leaf stems I used to create my wreath so it took some time to prepare. I added a tartan bow and red gems placed the wreath on an embossed card added  my greeting and it was complete.

This certainly must have taken you a long while with all those leaves to punch, but what a beautiful result - I love it - thanks for linking for both of my CHNC challenges - hope to see more of your Christmas loveliness soon. x

A beautiful wreath, I am sure it took a long time to punch out all those stems, but it was definitely worth it. The embossed background is perfect. Thanks for playing along with us at 52 CCT this week

Your punched wreath is terrific with its adorable little bow and sparkling holly berries. I'm glad you shared it in this week's punch art challenge at 52{C}CT! :)

Oh boy this is really wonderful! I'm impressed with all the punched pieces you had to make and the fact that you also got them in a perfect circle. Thanks so much for joining us this week at 52CCT!

This is wonderful Meg, good for you for sticking with it despite the frustration of a jamming punch! A fab example of punch art and a lovely Christmas card! So nice to see you playing along with us again at 52 {C}CT, please come back soon! Ruth x

This is so elegant!! Lovely card. I hate it when I have a punch that sticks! I just threw a punch away the other day because I couldn't get it to un-stick! I have heard that you can sharpen punches by punching through aluminum foil and I think wax paper makes them punch "smoother?"
