Walking In A Winterwonderland

Best Wishes for 2015 to everyone who visits. We have cold frosty mornings here in the North East of Scotland and thankfully little rain but a light dusting of snow.
I have several cards that I didn't post in December, at the beginning of the month we had a lot on, then as Christmas approached I contracted a viral infection which left me feeling weak and washed out, of course it was at it's worst on Christmas Day which I spent in bed unable to raise my head from the pillow. Hubby coped with dinner for the boys and our eldest's fiancée, as they left on Boxing day I felt I'd missed out as I hardly saw them.
There are still lots of Christmas Card Challenges to enter.

Happy New Year Meg and I hope you are feeling much better. What a rotten thing to happen at Christmas - and a Gold Star to your husband for coping.
I love your card. As you may know La Pashe images are a favourite of mine.
Thank you for joining in and hoping you are fighting fit very soon.

Sorry to hear that you have been so unwell, I by now you are picking up and feeling better. These viruses just leave you washed out, so don't overdo things, hugs Kate x

Aww Meg I'm so sorry to hear that you were ill over Christmas… there is nothing worse… I had similar Christmas Day… long time ago… with viral infection that also affected my nervous system… felt sick, couldn't lift my head or stand any noise…. so couldn't eat, watch tv or read. Just had to lie there while everyone else had xmas in the other room. So yes, you just feel like you've completely missed out on it. It takes a long time to get over it too.
I hope you are feeling a lot better now.
your card is SO beautiful… I love the image and the pretty embossing and flowers… it's a stunning design! :-)
Keep warm and snug and take care of yourself! Happy New Year btw! I hope 2015 is a Happy, Healthy and Creative year for you!
Big hugs, Sue B xx
