Quick Update

We're into our new home

I was ruthless and culled the furniture really well, just waiting on a new smaller dining room table and sideboard .

Sadly I wasn't nearly as efficient with our personal possessions and am finding it difficult to find a place for everything.

I haven't even started on my craft space yet,so no new cards for a while yet, I do have a few DT cards ready to post though.Apologies if I haven't visited, time seems to be running away from me,.

I'm so pleased to hear that you are in your new home and gradually settling in, it will take a while to find a home for everything, take your time, we will still be here when you get sorted.

Great news that you are settling in nicely to your new home. It will be a while before you get organised, try not to do too much all at once and wear yourself out, it's a busy and stressful time, take care of yourself.

Glad to hear that you have some furniture now even if you're having wait for the new stuff! It's so hard deciding what to keep and what not to when you move house, you'll find places for it eventually, until then do what I did and leave it in the boxes...if it's still there in a year you don't want it! (Not including craft stuff here of course!)
I hope you'll be very happy in your new home.

Glad that the removal went well, must have been a bit of a nightmare though deciding what to take and what to leave.

Hi Meg

Thanks for the up-date. I have been thinking of you and wondering whether things were improving for you.

My Sister moved last week. It is now 248 steps from my front door to hers! It is going to be great .. .. .. .. once we are allowed mix!

I don't envy you trying to organise everything. It is never easy.

At least being ruthless with the furniture means you have more room for your craft goodies. LOL!!

Good luck with it all and I wish you every happiness in your new home.

Love Jules xx

Hi Meg, moving takes time, I have done it around 15 times due to hubb's work, thank God we are now retired. x

Glad you are in and starting to get sorted. I've been thinking about you. Hope you manage to get the craft room sorted soon. We are wanting to downsize and have started a bit of a cull ourselves, but at this rate it will be years before we do! The loft is the main successful area so far and also we got rid of quite a few books and music. Craft stuff is proving much harder!
