For the Tree?

I thought December would be a relatively quiet month as I was well organised for Christmas, but I've been out almost every day .
Luckily we have not been affected by the bad weather and storms and have had a few light falls of snow, today is really frosty but the sun is attempting to shine, I love days like this.

Christmas Challenges

Spellbinder Die

Mixed weather here today bright sunshine with heavy showers, best indoors crafting.
I received a letter yesterday from the bank advising they were closing my local branch and transferring my accounts to a neighbouring town, I decided that if they were doing this it was time to review our banking arrangements and move accounts to a different bank. An hour later and having spoken to at least 5 people from customer services I was no further forward in ascertaining the penalty for closing a fixed term ISA. Everyone I spoke to appeared helpful until the call was transferred and you were still not put through to the correct department.
Feeling a lot less frustrated I called again this morning and eventually asked to make a formal complaint as yet again I was given different information and still not connected to the correct department, This proved to be worthwhile, they have just called back, upheld my complaint and offered to wave the penalty, give me £20 in compensation for the time spent on the phone, and are sending a bouquet of flowers. I am so sorry they are closing my local branch, living in a rural area I know all the staff personally and having been the District Nurse/Midwife visited many of them in a professional capacity. Face to face contact is far better than a telephone service centre and the local staff have been so helpful over the years. Enough of my rant  apologies for it.
