Snow Sport

A card to add to the Christmas box, which still looks rather emptier than usual by now. Have been busy in the garden and amongst the logs being cut, we have enough for this and next year but the longer they have to dry out the better. Thank you to everyone who continues to visit and leave comments, they are much appreciated.

In my previous post I mentioned that our younger son was moving to Aberdeen he informed me that he would appreciate a visit on a regular basis to attend to his laundry, or at least the ironing to help him out. Home cooking for the freezer would also be much appreciated!!

First Spring Flowers

A Spring flowers card inspired by the garden, my snowdrops are starting to flower and the crocus are well through the ground, the catkins are beginning to bud too.

A frosty snowy start to the day, no-one out as it's half term and our son is off today, Yesterday was a real hassle for him, his train left on time but was then delayed for an hour due to signalling problems then the train home was cancelled and it was a 2 hour wait for the next one. In  the end hubby drove the 50+ miles to collect him. They still got home well before he would have on the train or bus. The route from Aberdeen to Inverness is not well served by public transport trains hourly at peak time only, then 2 hourly and the buses are meant to be hourly but the bus he would have gone for at 7pm rarely leaves before 7.20 and then takes over an hour and a half to get to the nearest stop to us, then another 10 miles to home. I love living where we do but sometimes do wonder if we would be better moving closer to Aberdeen.

The digi is from Power  Poppy and is coloured with Promarkers

Shades of Blue

The challenge at 52CCT is to use shades of blue, I have combined this with a new die bought in the sales after Christmas.
We have had miserable weather here first the high winds which left us without power on Friday for about 14 hrs then yesterday some snow, which is still lying.
