Trees for Sale

At last the wood store is full we have enough logs to last 2-3 years, they have loads of time to dry out thoroughly, we still have about 8 tons of wood to cut, but have plenty of room to store it in the garden, but it will need covered for the winter months.

It has been another beautiful day not too hot in the sun, really just fine. One of James's friends arrived unexpectedly a few hours ago, James is tall at just over 6 ft. but this lad must be about 6 ft 6in I felt like a dwarf beside him. I hope they all keep in touch now that they have left school they are a great bunch.

52 CCT Challenge

Apologies for the quality of the photo my poinsettia and banners are not as clear as I would like though the sentiment is ok, I wonder if it's the colour of my papers, the green is quite dark. Had to have another go at the border, this time I have used a contrasting colour underneath and I think it gives more definition.

Merry Christmas

It's been another glorious day, not quite as warm thankfully, but the sun is shining after a dull day yesterday. I can hardly believe we are at the end of the 4th week of the school holidays.
I need to organise a trip to Edinburgh and another to Renfrewshire to catch up with friends and relatives, it's also a good excuse for some retail therapy, I love shopping on my own though, I can take as long as I want, without holding anyone up or hurrying them along.
Thanks to everyone for all the lovely comments I appreciate them greatly.
