A really quick card to make I machine stitched the top 2 layers not something I do often as it means setting up my sewing machine I think I may invest in stitch edge dies.

Humbug!!

This card is for my younger son to give to his dad at Christmas. My husband would do anything for both boys but the younger is always teasing him saying he is "mean". I think this image is perfect, he's certainly not a happy chap, Hubby appreciates James's sense of humour so I'm sure will love this.

Having a very peaceful afternoon, hubby and James have gone to Aberdeen to the cinema to see a guy film, didn't fancy shopping again as I was in Aberdeen on Tuesday, so a little crafting and a lot of reading, really enjoying Ken Follett's  latest book.

A Little Sparkle

Good morning from a sunny North east Scotland, we had a beautiful day of warm sunshine yesterday and it looks promising at the moment. Hubby came back from Aberdeen just before lunch time yesterday James will be home on Tuesday. They had a great night out celebrating James's 18th, none of them were under the weather James only had 1 cider nothing stronger. He and his brother are shopping for DVD's then heading to the cinema toady.

52 CCT Challenge

  Apologies for the quality of the photo my poinsettia and banners are not as clear as I would like though the sentiment is ok, I wonder if it's the colour of my papers, the green is quite dark. Had to have another go at the border, this time I have used a contrasting colour underneath and I think it gives more definition.

Snow Couple

I buy most of my card stock from the Papeterie in Aberdeen in an A4 size, so after cutting a15x15 cm card am left with long strips about 6 cm wide,some I use for die cuts but the remainder was surplus until I became a fan of white on white. I now use all those leftover pieces instead of paper.

We Three Kings

My second post for today, everyone has a long lie on a Sunday morning so I don't feel guilty spending my time crafting. It's just after 10 and hubby is awake but not on the go yet. James has been awake since 7am but is watching DVD's in bed.
