Balancing Act

My second post for today another House Mouse card , I embossed the background then added pine needles/branches and cones to make it look as though the lights were on a Christmas tree.

Christmas Love

More Christmas cards featuring these adorable house mice, I just love these little guys and gals.
Another dreich overcast day a great excuse to stay warm indoors and craft. Also time for hearty meals and lots of soups and savoury dishes.

In the Pink

I would like to welcome Barb my latest follower , thank you for choosing to become a follower and many thanks to all who leave comments for me.

I had a terrible time taking this photograph and the colours aren't quite right but this is the best I could achieve. We have bright sunshine interspersed  with strong winds and cloudy skies, thankfully no rain though. This is the first card I have made in a few weeks all other posts were in Drafts, we've been busy preparing the garden for winter and had 2 lorry loads of timber delivered, this is enough to keep the wood burning stoves going for the next 4 to 5 years, it now needs to be cut to 16 inch lengths and stored away. It will be well into next summer before we get finished.

Yes I admit we must be mad, this is about 90% of the load we've done about 10%  over the past 12 days the pile was 4.3 metres high.

Poinsettia Wreath

A second post for today, this card was made using left over strips of 120 gsm paper, die cut and coloured with Spectrum Noirs then misted with water and give some texture by scrunching the die cuts very carefully.

Christmas Robin

I had been hoping to see Macbeth yesterday, but it wasn't showing at Union Square in Aberdeen, so went to see Suffragette instead, I did enjoy it although it wasn't as dramatic as I expected from the previews  It was very harrowing in places and I am so glad that I didn't live then.
Another nice day the sun is trying really hard to come out and it is not cold.

Believe

Another beautiful day I've spent about 6 hrs in the garden every day since Tuesday and will probably need another couple of days to complete all the chores I want to do before the weather changes, it does however look a lot tidier than it did after our wet summer,
A quick card today I love these house mouse images.

Bloomin Marvellous

It's time for a new challenge at CD Sunday, today's challenge is Bloomin marvellous and was chosen by Jocelyn. Remember you only need 1 element from a CD to join in, the card composition needn't be entirely from a CD.

I chose this image from The Best of La Pashe 2012 for two reasons, one I love the flowers which I decoupaged and two this is the sort of thing my husband would do, plants are put in any article he thinks might do. He used my jelly pan last year, it had belonged to my gran and was probably about 70 years old, it is now filled with salt for the driveway( him again )

Please visit the challenge http://cdsundaychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ and join in.
