Stamping on Vellum at BBB

Welcome to the today's Challenge at Back to Basics and Beyond this fortnight we would like to see a card using the technique of stamping and colouring on vellum.There are loads of examples on Pinterest.

Anniversary Cats

This is a card for hubby for our anniversary at the start of December, he usually forgets until mid way through the day, when he was working the florist nearest his work used to phone and remind him a few days before it.

A Bugaboo digi, and lots of hearts, on the background paper and 2 embossed layers, the black card rubbed back to reveal the white core.

Non Traditional Colours for Christmas

Today's Challenge at Make My Monday was chosen by Mia and the theme she would like to see is "Non Traditional Colours for Christmas." 

My card was made using a clipart image  which I  teamed with a very old paper pad Naughty or Nice.

Blue and White at CD Sunday

It's Margaret's choice this week at CD Sunday and she has chosen the theme "Blue and White".  My backing paper is from a very old Crafter's Companion CD , Festive Occasions, Spellbinder Poinsettia dies, Marianne and Joanna Sheen dies and finally I added a die cut sentiment from  Tonic .

R for Reindeer at the Alphabet Challenge

Today's Challenge at The Alphabet Challenge is R for Reindeer and was chosen by Caz I used an image and papers which came with the Making cards Christmas Special in 2016, I have images and papers lying from magazines, collected over the years, so I thought it was time to use some of them up. The wreath die is from Marianne and the poinsettia a Tattered Lace die.

Christmas Tree

I've chosen a fun Christmas Tree image from Bugaboo today, I've had it for ages and never used it so it was time to do so. Coloured with Promarkers with 2 sets of 3 stars added for a tiny bit of bling.

Yuletide Greetings : Winter Foliage

Today's Challenge at Make My Monday was chosen by Emma and the theme she would like to see "Winter Foliage" so think, ivy, holly, pine cones, fir trees, berries etc, it doesn't need to be a Christmas card.

My card was made totally from die cuts from various companies , holly leaves from Joanna Sheen, Pine branches and cone base by Spellbinder, cone segments cut from a sizzix pansy/viola die, each piece was less than 1cm across, were embossed and approx  25-30 added to each base. Sentiment from Tonic with a mat I cut by hand.   I wish I had added a mat behind the embossed one to give some contrast, but overall am reasonably pleased with the result.

Paper Piecing at Crafty Calendar

This month at Crafty Calendar we are sponsored by Dr Digi and Crafty Ribbons I chose Christmas Chris,  from Dr Digi the theme is " paper piecing" and I digitally paper pieced the image in my graphics programme using papers from Nitwit Collections, there were several steps to doing this but I have saved my image to use again.
