Fun Fold

Welcome to the latest challenge at MMM where Sue has chosen "A Fun Fold" as our theme.

I have had very few opportunities to craft as we have lots of work going on in our New Home, we'd ages to wait for tradesmen even getting quotes for the work seemed to take ages.Every room in the house seems upside down.

I'm afraid I had to search my Drafts folder and this was the only card that was remotely suitable.

Image and die cut poinsettia from Hunkydory.

Many thanks to all who visit and leave a comment, I appreciate the time you take to do this.

Gorgeous stepper card and image. Building is a nightmare and dust gets everywhere. Good luck. Hugs Emmax

Don't envy you the building work Meg- so disruptive and messy- but it will be worth it when it's finished! Just as well you had this beautiful card in your draft folder- it's perfect for the challenge theme.

A beautiful card Meg, such a lovely image.
It sounds like you are having a bit of a nightmare at the moment, I hope you manage to get the house a bit more sorted soon, I'm sure it will be worth it in the end.

Absolutely stunning card and I just adore that sweet bird image!! Really cool fold design too! P.S. I know what you mean about tradesmen and getting things done as we have had much going on outside and trying to get things wrapped up before Winter sets in! Best wishes!

Hi Meg

A wonderful Christmas card .. .. .. how lucky to have it ready and waiting in your draft folder. I wish I had one of those to dip into!! LOL!!

Pleased your renovation work has now started .. .. .. your home sounds just like my Sisters. She doesn't have any rooms that are what you would call "liveable" at the moment. There is something going on in every one of them! But I am sure it will be wonderful when it is all done and worth the upheaval.

We had lots and lots of torrential rain a few weeks ago and that showed up quite a few leaks .. .. .. good job that happened while she still had the builders on site to correct them.

At least you have the beach and the dolphins to take your mind off everything for a while.

Love Jules xx

It's lovely! It has never occured to me I can use a full image/patterned paper this way. The fold adds that "special little something". Simple and stunning, you're great at this style.

I'm constantly amazed at how you can produce these amazing cards Meg while moving/having building work done and presumably going through all sorts of other stressful events!! I love a robin Christmas card and the stepper element works brilliantly with this image. Sending best wishes with all the work on the house - just keep thinking about the end result and keep your shoulders down!! Hugs, Vicky x

Oh... I love the sweet bird and fun fold design. The idea of moving sounds fun, but I can't image packing up all my craft supplies. Hopefully things go smoothly and everything finds it's new place.

It's so unsettling waiting for quotes and work to begin Meg so understandable you get no time or peace to craft. The is one beautiful card though, the epidemy of Christmas!

Serene, timelessly pretty wintertime card. We rarely see robins in the winter where I live (the interior of BC, Canada), but do get treated to their adorable presence from spring to early fall, so I really cannot complain. Plus, as you've so beautifully demonstrated here, we can always connect with them via our paper crafting the whole year through.
