Weddings at The Alphabet Challenge

Welcome to the Alphabet Challenge where Weddings are the topic for this fortnight.
Pop over to the Challenge site and see the DT makes, then why not join in.

I decided to make an envelope for a Gift card or cash, using lace and ribbon from my  stash and a sentiment from Lily of the Valley, keeping the layout really simple.

My son's wedding later this year will be a joyous /sad occasion without his dad who was looking forward to it so much.

Thank you for popping in today, I appreciate the time you take to do this and for any comments you leave.

Hi Meg

A great make!

Simple and elegant and a really lovely way to present a monetary gift rather than putting a cheque (if anyone uses those anymore) inside a wedding card.

Yes, a joyous and sad day all rolled into one .. .. .. but your hubby will be there in spirit and will always be in your heart .. .. .. and it will be your job to enjoy the day for both of you.

Take care.

Love and hugs

This is lovely Meg, a classy and elegant way to give a gift card or cash. Love the ribbon /lace combo.
I'm so pleased you have such a lovely event to look forward to, of course you will miss having your husband by your side to share it with but try to focus on the joy of your son's wedding day.

How very elegant Meg and a lovely way to gift money.

I am so pleased you have the wedding to look forward to and I know from what you've said the couple have included you in planning etc., which is lovely.

What a great idea, Meg! We always gift newlyweds with cash so this is a beautiful way to do that. For your son's wedding, I think including your husband in the day somehow will help you all feel that he is there with you. My heart goes out to you and your family as you deal with this tremendous loss. Big hugs and lots of prayers to you all.

Hi Meg,
oh this card or mony envelope is so stunning and such a very classical time piece with that gorgeous lace and ribbon.
I do so hope your Son's wedding gives you and the family much joy after sad times recently.
I know it will be slightly sad also but remember he is there in your memories and hearts always.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

This is brilliant. Leaves me with an Irish/Scottish feel with the tartan ribbon. Love it.
