Weddings at The Alphabet Challenge

 

Welcome to the Alphabet Challenge where Weddings are the topic for this fortnight.

I decided to make an envelope for a Gift card or cash, using lace and ribbon from my  stash and a sentiment from Lily of the Valley, keeping the layout really simple.

 My son's wedding later this year will be a joyous /sad occasion without his dad who was looking forward to it so much.

I merged two Simply Print images from Lili of the Valley to give the row of Easter Eggs, stencilled the background sky using Prism inkpads ,teamed with multi coloured dotty frame made with paper from stash and sentiment from TLC.

November at the Crafty Chefs

 

Welcome to all friends and followers thank you for visiting today, I appreciate the time you take to do this. My card is for this months Challenge at the Crafty Chefs where the Must Do elements must be included in the card with the option of adding the Can Do elements.

Must Do

From previous challenge, use mirri card,

Add Sparkle/glitter

I used a Simply Print from Lili of the Valley, several die cut circles and ribbon, adding Stickles to snowy areas to give sparkle. I also made a matching tag, they will be for a good friend.

Sweet Treat

 

A simple Christmas gift tag using part of a Lili of the Valley Simply Print, matted onto gold mirri card then Kraft. We have 4 feeding stations for birds in the garden and put out about 12 fat balls and 2-3 feeders every day I love seeing the birds feed. Unusually we have 2 pairs of robins visit, I think they nested and reared their chicks in a large cotoneaster bed or in the ivy near the burn that runs alongside the garden.

Crafty Chefs

Welcome to all friends and followers and new followers, thank you for taking the time to pop in and leave a comment.This is the second Challenge at Crafty Chefs a small group I belong to.

This month our Challenge was chosen by Vicki who would like to see a card incorporating the following, I chose to make a rocker circle side step card, you can just see the trees placed in the side steps.

Off the Cutting Room Floor

"Off the Cutting Room Floor"is Carol's choice for the challenge at CD Sunday today, that should give plenty of scope for your imagination, you can use any odds and ends you have lying about. 

This proved more difficult for me than I thought it would, I only print the paper I need for each project using my photo editing programme to alter sizes accordingly. The only paper I had from a CD was one I printed about 2 years ago and never used, So here it is teamed with a Lili of the Valley digi coloured with Promarkers, I had printed a few days ago.

Anything Goes at CD Sunday

It's my choice for the challenge at CD Sunday today, and I have chosen a nice easy one for you "Anything Goes" 

There is a story behind my choice of image, many years ago my husband had two pairs of chipmunks they were housed in a large shed in pairs, each pair had a huge run complete with a tree and housing unit. When he was feeding them one of the rascals  slipped out of it's enclosure into the main shed, hours later, I was instructed to take off my tights, he threw them over it and returned it to it's run, I hate to think what our neighbours would have thought if they had heard him.

We've had glorious sunshine for the past few days, poor folks in Wales and the South East of England who have had lightening storms and flooding. A day spent in the garden (Sunday), managed to get quite a lot done, now need to rotovate an area and prepare it for planting at the end of summer. Surprise surprise another Christmas card.
