Up, Up and Away

"Up, Up and Away" is Carol's choice for the challenge at CD Sunday today, that should give plenty of scope for your imagination, I used an image from Sassy Cheryl "Bentley Bears Balloon Lift" and teamed him with papers from Robert Adams CD Rom Printable Gingham, Polka Dot, Check and Tartan Backing Papers.

Remember you must use something from a Cd and to let us know which Cd you used in order to win a prize or be in the top 3. Please visit the Challenge Blog and take a peek at the team's cards, look forward to seeing your cards there.

Thank You

First a big Thank You to the CD Sunday team for inviting me to contribute as a Guest Designer for the next 3 months.  I try and participate in their challenge regularly and am delighted to contribute.

The challenge for today, chosen by Carol is "Gorgeous Gowns "

When I received the challenge guidelines I decided to make a Thank You card for my new daughter-in-law's work colleagues who helped her achieve a 50's look for her wedding day. I believe this is called a swing and jive dress now, and is what she wore with a huge petticoat giving a full skirted appearance. She looked stunning, when they decided to have a very small wedding they didn't stick to any traditions at all.

Paper from Robert Adams CD Rom

I found paper piecing this digi quite easy apart from the tiny bows on the shoulder which were really fiddly.
