Fancy Folds

The Challenge starting at Make my Monday today was chosen by Nandini and she would like to see "Fancy Folds". Pop over to the Challenge Blog for some inspiration and see the fabulous makes there.

This little box is large enough to hold a sweet, but you could adapt the sizes to suit a small gift, I found the instructions, here , it really is quite simple to make.

Thank You

Saying a simple thank you and letting others know that you appreciate them is important to me, so I always have a few thank you cards made. This one is very simple a printed image from Lili of the Valley and paper that came with a Creative Crafting World kit.

Those that visit regularly may remember that I was to see an Oncologist after my breast surgery, I saw him yesterday and have declined chemotherapy, the increase in survival rate at 10 years was only 4%, since I had a mastectomy and the cancer wasn't affected by hormones and there was no node involvement I am in as good a position as it's possible to be. Luckily the Oncologist accepted that I totally understood the situation and my reasons for saying no.

In The Garden

I had a few last minute cards to make so used some Hunkydory  Little Book toppers teamed with papers from Kameo cards and Creative Crafting World, A Winter Walk in the Countryside CD .

I think I have everything organised now, just last minute food shopping to do, the family finish on the 23rd for 3 days  hubby says he will collect them when they finish work, so we will probably eat out in Aberdeen before heading home.

Thanks to everyone who has visited and left comments on my posts I appreciate the time you have taken to do this.

Spring

Good morning from a snow covered part of Scotland, it's a beautiful day the sun is shining even though it is snowing and bitterly cold. I apologise for not commenting over the past few days but have been under the weather, and have not been spending any time on the computer .
So far I have managed to use up lots of papers and pre printed papers from CD's not that it's making much impact on the amount left to be used.

My image and main backing paper is from a Walk in the Country paper kit
The striped paper and paper for the flowers is from A Walk in the Country CD Rom
The flowers are a new die I purchased String Flowers be Sue Wilson
