Things with Wings at MMM

 

Welcome to our latest challenge at Make My Monday where  we would like to see things with wings.  

All of my cards feature one of my favourite birds,my first card combines images from Power Poppy and is coloured with Promarkers ,the remaining cards use snowy digital images from a very old CD from Just Inklined teamed with diecuts from Tim Holtz, Card Making Magic and Two Red Robins Highlight Crafts

Christmas

 

A trio of Christmas cards using different background scenes from La Pashe, a Christmas frame from Card Making Magic and robin and holly dies from Two Red Robins, Highlight Crafts I am trying to finish my Christmas cards as I hope to be admitted for a hip replacement before Christmas, I say hope as the waiting time is substantially longer now than it was when I saw the Consultant in June. 

Using Two red robin dies has made it so much easier than sitting to colour images. 

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit, I hope you are all well and enjoying the autumnal colours, it's my favourite time of year.

Christmas Sleigh

 

This year's Christmas card layouts seem to be following two themes,wreaths with die cuts and lots of white space. A vintage style image surrounded by a twiggy  wreath and foliage mostly cut from vellum.

Christmas with Diecuts

 

A Christmas card with a beautiful robin and traditional colours using diecuts from several companies. Sentiment computer generated.

Robins are one of my favourite birds, the other being owls. I love seeing them on Christmas cards and used traditional colours and winter foliage dies fast becoming a favourite
